Uddebo is a small industrial town in Tranemo Municipality that has attracted many alternative-minded people. The large weaving mill, around which the village revolves, was shut down in 2012, leading to massive depopulation. However, a new wave of artists and creative individuals, particularly from Gothenburg, moved in and initiated a variety of interesting projects.

I moved to Uddebo in 2018 and, during my seven years here, I have been actively involved in running the community space and cultural center Världshuset, located in Uddebo's old school building. Additionally, I have helped organize Festidalen (Uddebo’s village festival), lived in three different collectives in the village, and operated a music studio in Karlavagnen, just outside Världshuset.

Världshuset:

In 2018, my friend Fredrik Telenius bought the old school building, which had previously been transformed into a cultural center and community hub. After a year of settling into the space, our then-theater group Imagino began organizing cultural events, workshops, study circles, community kitchens, retreats, and hosting volunteers from all over the world.

Världshuset remains a meeting place for the people of Uddebo, where community kitchens, parties, retreats, and gatherings continue to take shape. Additionally, the residents of the building collaborate with the village preschool, which shares the same space

During my time at Världshuset, I organized numerous cultural events, parties, study circles, and community kitchens, for which I also designed flyers and posters. Additionally, I created the Världshuset website, though it is no longer particularly active.

Karlavagnen:

Next to Världshuset, I had my studio, Karlavagnen. There, I worked on music for Craft Rituals, musical interpretations for Jimmy's project Dikta Dig, as well as music for Imagino's theater productions.
