Craft Rituals

In the exhibition Craft Rituals, I worked musically with samples from, among other things, wool and spinning wheels. It was a collaboration between the three Nordic countries – Finland, Iceland, and Sweden – depicted through the three Norns of Norse mythology: Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld. Three singers from Finland, Iceland, and Sweden gave voices to the Norns, which were then layered with beats, soundscapes, and melodies.

In the exhibition, synths made of crystals, wood, and wool were created, and during an interactive part, visitors were given the opportunity to explore the Norns' sound worlds themselves.
